I'm not the best at keeping secrets, so I finally get to burst and introduce you to the Brittingham Photography Class of 2019 Model Rep Team! Through application sorting, interviews and official sign ups, they've gone through quite the process to get here! This was one of the hardest years I've had to make selections. I had some truly fantastic applications with such thoughtful and heartfelt answers. It came down to those that had a combination of answers with some extra sparkle, understanding of the Brittingham Photography platform, social media content and personality. Being a model for Brittingham Photography is not a beauty contest in the least. We look for leaders, those living their best life, those looking to grow, those lifting up others and always those with heart.
Saturday was their first time meeting and first shoot! I was so grateful to have two of our past reps, Paige & Caira, from the 2018 team present to help. These girls were all hands on deck and I loved seeing their willingness to connect and assist! Paige handed out goodie bags and tulips to the girls as they arrived, Caira helped with makeup and my house was quickly taken over. Koda was in heaven, and stayed close to the girls under their feet the whole time.
I have to admit that this was one of the best first shoots I've ever had with a rep team. Their willingness to help each other and get to know one another was a blessing to see. Ashley from White River, was probably our biggest MVP of the day- coming to the shoot after having ACL surgery only 3 days prior to the shoot! Chloe did her makeup and Morgan her hair, and her boyfriend Nathan made a fantastic assistant for her- helping her at the river, up the stairs and bringing her food, so sweet!
Down at the river near my home base in Orting, the girls killlllled it in front of the camera. I was so shocked how comfortable and willing they were to try. The first group shoot can sometimes be hard because everyone is trying to learn the ropes and are also dealing with an audience. Since it was such a nice day, we had quite a few onlookers at the river out with family, but we had fun with the music blasting and even got some Koda cuddles at the end.
This year will be one for the books! I can't wait to spend more time with these beauties and grow with one another!
