Fashion Friday| 6.30.17

If you've been following along on Instagram, you know that I love posting Fashion Fridays! I do occasionally forget them... heh, woops! But I think it's a great opportunity to share some looks that photograph well and to share some insight why I pick them. I love that Polyvore gives me this tool to be able to share these looks with you and is a great resource for my clients, so please check out my Polyvore for more ideas! Some of these items are available for purchase, and you can click the links for the items below. Please keep in mind, however, that these looks are more created for inspiration than affordability- there are some speennndddyyy items that find their way over to Polyvore- YIKES!

  • The focal piece of this outfit is the dress. I love this dress because it's a flattering, classic shape that you won't look years down the line and gasp at the unflattering or trendy silhouette. The pattern is what keeps it still trendy, but still minimal and does not overwhelm the person wearing the dress or the background. It can also be worn at multiple shoot locations such as: a coffee shop, a lake, the woods, the beach, etc.
  • By choosing simple, but cute sandals and jewelry- you're still going to be the spotlight!
  • I love the idea of tinted lip balm, mascara and some eye liner- this is not a look that calls for layers of makeup unless that's how you do you!
  • These pieces are versatile and able to be worn time and time again and aren't something you'll only wear for photos and will never see the light of day. Re-wear this outfit with an oversized sweater, belt, leggings and booties for winter.

Keep looking out for more style ideas and follow along on my Instagram or Polyvore!
