{Taylor} Class of 2018 Key Team Model

The last month has been quite a whirlwind for me in both business and life. I've been a busy bee photographing my 2018 models both days each weekend, editing, working on quite a bit of the behind the scenes part of running a business and my husband and I have been frantically house hunting and preparing our house for sale in times between. I've been a little more absent publicly with my photography, but with the senior industry coming out of a lull it has at least been a bit of a blessing. My husband and I found a house we absolutely loved and listed our house only to find out that the other house had accepted another offer after telling us they'd let us list our house to see if it sold over that weekend. Well it did. In a day. And now we have only a couple weeks to find another or we'll be cozying up with the in-laws.

Since I've been holding out on showing off my beautiful models lately, you will see a lot more coming your way soon! Today we get to show off our little beauty from Cascade Christian High School, Taylor. When Taylor applied to the model program over Christmas holiday, her mom was rightfully nervous that she'd found me on Instagram. In a world where social media can be, quite honestly- fake, I couldn't agree with her apprehension more. This is the reason that I require some type of meeting with my clients before shoots. It helps assure my safety and reassure those of my clients. We all hit it off right away and I've been so thrilled with having Taylor on the team. Being a senior model to me, means that my seniors strive to be role models and not just pretty faces. Obviously Taylor is stunning, but she has the sweetest soul and I couldn't love that more.

Brisk and filled with off and on drizzle, we were a little nervous over the shoot day's weather but were so pleased that we felt only a few drops during the shoot. Indian plum, blooming the sweetest little white flowers, scattered all around the lake and made for some beautiful shots. My clients are always a little hesitant when I stick them in some kind of plant or tree, but they always end up being favorite photos. I love the rich tones we achieved on this shoot and Taylor was killing it! Be sure to scroll through to check out the rest of Taylor's model shoot!
