Andrea Loree Brittingham
Born in Lake Tapps, Washington, the Pacific Northwest has always been my home. I grew up riding bikes with my grandpa on the Orting Trail, making perfume out of my dad's prized roses, putting my cats in every dress imaginable (even when they were male) and living an active and imaginative childhood.
Today I live with my husband on the outskirts of Orting, Washington along with our dog, Koda, and two cats, Caspian and Artemis. Together we enjoy day trips around Washington, hiking, working on our house and dreaming up new places we want to travel. We have been to Ireland twice in the last two years and cherish our memories in such a beautiful country.
While naturally blonde, you may also run into me as a brunette or a red head as I can never seem to stick to one hair color for long. I'll likely be holding a coffee and dressed in black.
My belief & Mission as a photographer...
I've had the wonderful pleasure to meet and work with many amazing people in my community and grow as a person from it all. As a female that has struggled for years with the physical expectations put on us by society, it is really important to me to help bring up other women and make them feel more than just “worth it”. Not everyone is cast from the same image, and insecurities plague us all. Whether you hide behind thick layers of clothes, or love what your mama gave ya- every woman deserves to have beautiful images that let your inner and outer beauty shine.
Brittingham Photography believes in natural, authentic and genuine photography. We believe in deserving beautiful images of ourselves, no matter what size or confidence. We believe in the wind in our hair, fingers trailing atop bobbing windflowers and the freedom of closing our eyes and savoring the smell of the wind. We believe in changing our hair with our mood, the right pair of yoga pants (even if we don’t do yoga) and #coffee4ever.
1. For some reason I never wanted to admit that I loved the color burgundy, but alas, I say it. I love burgundy. | 2. When I have downtime, I love to read. My favorite types of books are stories that I can truly escape into. If you haven't read A Court Of Mist and Fury put it at the VERRRRYYY top of your list... but not until you've read book one, A Court of Thorns and Roses! | 3. I'm obsessed with Outlander. I don't think I need to say much else. | 4. If someone is burning a fire, I can smell it a mile away! I've always loved the earthy, warm scent that reminds me of crisp nights in the great outdoors and sticky fingers from eating too many s'mores. | 5. If it was possible to live off of coffee... I'd have figured it out. I love real artisan coffee, but drink Seattle's Best Post Ally #5 at home and I take it black.
